Parallels won't allow me to activate. I don't have it installed on any computers, and when I go to my dashboard I can see the license, however, there appears to be no way to reset it. I've also tried to contact support but every form of support seems to require a 200yuan purchase, which is a little ridiculous considering I paid for the software and it was advertised as a lifetime license. Hiding from your customers is not a good look and the way your company obfuscates users from accessing to their software is very deceitful. People shouldn't have to post in forums just to be able to use a product they own.
can't agree more. I've bought PD26 for Mac but got a PD17 license in my account. And it is still PD17 after I paid again to upgrade. And as a result I am still not able to use it now.
I have the same problem. I had to buy a new laptop, because the old one crashed, but now I am unable to activate my licence. Instead I get this statement": Error message: "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies.", but my Parallels licence is not used on any other PC. It is impossible to get a support to move the licence. I see also that meanwhile they charge more than 200$ for a "lifetime" version, which is 4 times the price than in 2020. And I am sure, that "lifetime" means exactly the current version only. If they bring out a new version, they want your money again. So much for lifetime. This company is really, really bad. I am going to delete this software from my PC.
