Hah, but that does nothing. F12 is the EJECT key - just put in a CD and press the F12 key a bit longer. Setting the preferences does not change this. It's a Leopard problem I already posted this malfunction earlier (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=17588&highlight=F11)

I found out that it is not Parallels fault. It's Leopard. Therefore I have a feature request! Since 'Send Keys -> F11' etc. does work, can you, Parallels team, make a floating palette for the keys that can be sent with 'Send Keys' ?? It's a bit clumsy I have to choose a submenu item each time.

I found out that the F11 and F12 key not working has nothing to do with Parallels - it's Leopard or the Microsoft Destop 6 software. Since a restart, my ScrLk and Pause/Break keys are the same as the Fn-F1 and Fn-F2 keys (i.e. brightness - / +)

I had it after installing Leopard. I reinstalled build 5162 and now it runs ok. Only thing I have is that the F11 and F12 key are the same as the PrtScn and de ScrLk keys.

That is why I kept the older Image Tool, too. I have put it in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder so it cannot be removed by the Parallels installer.

Thanks for posting the solution, mmcneely. I had this problem too and kept stuck with build 1862. The patch also works for build 1970, which did not solve the keypad ENTER-key problem either.
