Leopard - Parallels 3 - Drive C Won't Mount

I just updated to Leopard. The Mounting of a network drive in Windows and a Drive C in MAC is NOW BROKEN. This is an important feature to me.

When I start the Virtual Machine I get an error that the mounting of drive C

C: WWINDOS 1
Timed out Waiting for the file system to initialize. The volume has been ejected You can use the init_timout mount option to wait longer.

Parallels Build 5160 V 3
Leopard Just Released
 
There was a thread about this exact problem the other day. No solution yet. I'm running release 5160. Where it get to be a real problem is when you open a file on the windows side and expect a mac appliction to handle it. It can't, because it can't access the c drive. Hmm.
 
Same issue. I've also had the "curtain of gray" request to re-start my mac upon starting my VM on 2 of my first 3 launch attempts. Never had a single occurrence of this while running Parallels on Tiger.
 
Yeah, same issue here. My Windows drive never mounts on my Mac desktop now that I have upgraded to Leopard. Can someone please update us with a time frame for when this will be fixed? This is a pretty big deal...
 
Now that Leopard is all of 1 day old, maybe Parallels can take a look at this issue. The GM version is different to previous builds that Parallels will have had access to.

Because no developers had access to Leopard during the entire beta period?

As a matter of fact, Parallels team has a blog entry stating they've been working with Leopard, and therefore it's already supported. However, the blog goes on to say if Apple changes something and it breaks, Parallels will put out an update. Then the blog adds that they are making an update (implying something broke).

I know mine broke. Same symptoms as this thread (no C drive, and grey screens) for a while; now it won't boot any more at all without crashing the Mac.
 
Yes, because the Developers aren't usually seeded exactly what is actually released... OS X will probably have an update within the next month, and I expect Parallels to release one around the same time.
 
I, for one, am glad I switched to Fusion. My daughter, however, is using Parallels at school, and it is now broken for her. I would expect to see an entry on the web site telling customers when things will be fixed.

Developers are normally provided an advanced copy of the GM. This is the first time that Apple has not released a final build directly to developers after declaring GM.

I also have this Problem with Parallels 5162 and Leopard GM.

Just installed Leopard on a brand new 24" iMac.
No Update - just fresh install of Leopard.

And i also don´t have the icons from the started application in the dock.
For Example no IE or Outlook Icon.

We are sorry for the issues coming up with the Leopard installation. We could not prevent some bugs caused by last minute changes in the final "gold master" build of Mac OS X 10.5 released on October, 26. We are working hard to fix these problems.

For Drive C mounting and Timeout error please try to install the latest MacFUSE release: http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/downloads/list

I installed the patch as indicated and now drive C Mounts. In regards to the unexpected panic I would like to provide system information as follows;

(Just as a note, It was not until I put 2GB into the machine that I was able to run the type of windows application's I use in trading stocks and currencies) It might be time for a Pimped out G5
