I searched and found a post about this same problem on Windows 10, but there have been no replies to it since August 2021.
Has anyone got a clue as to its cause and, I hope, a solution?

In preparation for the new M1x MacBook Pro I want to buy, I'd like to know if I would be able to move over my existing VM which is a Legacy boot Win 10 running on an i5 MacBook Pro. Will it boot on an ARM based Mac? Thanks.
