I don't understand why this hasn't been fixed - but Apple has "Natural Scrolling" setting that is sticky when you plug in a mouse. Rather than have one setting for a mouse, and one for the laptop trackpad, it stays turned on or off. I plug in the mouse, I have to go in to settings and turn off...
