My subscription has expired and I need to renew, I had 2 computers, now I only need one computer. I am unable to change the number of computers, so I can renew the subscription. How can I make this change to my subscription?

Last year we wanted to lower the number of licenses on our subscription from 5 to 3. We were told that wasn't possible on an active subscription. We were told to cancel our subscription and when it expired we could renew it with 3 licenses instead of 5. The subscription is now expired...
