I'm seeing the same thing. Parallels, any ideas of how to support the DRM in Netflix Watch Now? I'd be very interested in this.

Resolved!!!!
I contacted Netflix and got a solution for running in Parallels. Here it is.
Uninstall Windows Media Player, Window Media Format runtime environments and Netflix Movie Player completely.
If you are running Windows Media Player 10 or lower, please skip to step 10 to uninstall the Netflix Movie Player.
1.) Go to the Start Menu
2.) Click on Control Panel
3.) Click on Add or Remove Programs
4.) Uninstall Windows Media Player 11
5.) Restart Computer
6.) Uninstall Windows Media Format 11 Runtime
7.) Restart Computer
8.) Uninstall Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0
9.) Restart Computer
10.) Uninstall Netflix Movie Player
11.) Restart Computer
Locate and rename the DRM folder.
12.) Open My Computer
13.) Click Tools, then Folder Options
14.) From the Folder Options window, click the View tab, and select the Show hidden files and folders button
15.) Next, uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) box
16.) Click OK
17.) Open My Computer
18.) Open the C: drive
19.) Open the Documents and Settings folder
20.) Open the All Users folder
21.) Right-click the DRM folder and select Rename (Please rename to RMD)
Download and reinstall Windows Media Player
22.) Visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx to reinstall Windows Media Player.
23.) Restart computer.
24.) Windows media Security component upgrade: http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/indivsite/en/indivit.asp
You will need to reinstall the Netflix Movie Player when you try to watch another movie.
Should work now (does for me).

The only issue I've noticed is that it's more pixelated than running windows natively. I'm not sure why this is yet.

For the record, jbaile07's by itself did not. That's what Netflix told me to do too but I had to follow all of Gregz's steps.

Video clipping
Gregz's fix worked for me, too - thanks, Greg. The shorter
fixes didn't do the trick.
A remaining problem is that, on my 15" Macbook Pro, going
fullscreen on both Parallels and then the Netflix viewer
causes some clipping on the right-hand side of the displayed
video. This was most apparent when watching "Conversations
with other women", whose split-screen format makes the
clipping obvious - some 30% of the right-hand pane is not
shown when fullscreen (its replaced by black margin). Running
the netflix viewer non-full-screen is OK, although enlarging
the Netflix window sufficiently causes the clipping to appear
even without going fullscreen.
Not sure whether this is Netflix's problem or Parallels', although
I haven't been able to reproduce the problem running the viewer
on native XP, even with very large format screens. It almost
seems like the virtual machine is running out of (simulated)
virtual video memory...
Anyone else notice this?

Hey, I tried everything that has been suggested here. There has been some progress; I don't seem to get that error message anymore. What happens now when I try to play a movie is this:
it goes to the page with the red screen, loads, then nothing happens for a few seconds. Then a window comes up saying I need to download some Windows Media Player component to watch the movie. I let it download, and then another window comes up saying it doesn't have the license to watch it, and it asks me if I want to go to a website to download the license.
I click OK, and a Netflix window says that it's downloading and that I should click "Play" when the option appears below. However, even after I wait for a long time, the Play button is still grayed out and I can't select it. In addition, every time I go through this process, the DRM folder is generated anew, so that I have a DRM file in addition to an RMD/Old_DRM folder. What should I try now? I ran Windows Update and downloaded everything. Thanks for your help.

I did just as you recommended and just renamed the DRM Folder..following the instructions in part two of the 1st or 2nd thread in this forum to unhide the folder. Worked without any other changes. Media Player 11 did go and grab a new component so prepare for this. I'm using IE 7 Win XP2 on a MacBook with 1 GB of Memory. It might be worth trying that if you are having this problem. My system is XP Pro.

Just an additional note. Netflix says you need 512mb of memory in Windows. I have my windows set to 384mb and so far it works very well. This setting is good because OSX really needs the rest of the 1GB to run smoothly concurrently. Full-screen Parallels before you start the movie and it'll work. The trouble is that the NF player figures out what the resolution of the screen is when it starts. If that changes while the movie is running, hillarity ensues.
