I have a Parallels 11 license, and I think I used that license to upgrade to 1 year of Parallels 12. The licensing is very confusing for me, so I was wondering if there is a way for you to check if the license I have can be upgraded to a one-time purchase upgrade to the normal version of Parallels 12. I do not need the pro edition subscription.
Yes, you can buy a standard one-time upgrade to Parallels Desktop 12 as your Pro subscription is going to expire.
How do I go about doing that? A co-worker of mine was in the same position, he purchased the upgrade as you suggested, but then when he tried to apply the update, Parrallels told him the update was not valid. Is there any way to verify that the update will work before hand?
We've checked your details and you can purchase the standard upgrade. We are not sure what was the previous version your co-worker had. If he needs help, suggest him to reach us. We will be glad to assist.
