Cannot install canon printer driver

I have a large format Canon Pro 10 printer I am trying to use. I turned off printer sharing to stop generic printer driver files from being loaded as they don't include all the features. I downloaded the proper driver installer from Canon and ran it. It went through the installation screens, but ended with " Installation incomplete. Drivers not installed."

Any Ideas???

There are three reason this can happen

1. Corrupted installation file
2. Version error of the installation file
3. connecting printer before installation

Re download the installation file and try,
Check for compatibility issues of the installation file with your OS
Dont connect the printer while installation until it is prompted to do so
I have faced the same issue at a web development company in bangalore solved it by removing old installation drivers and re installing new ones.
