I like this new clipboard history tool but I have not found a way to select older clipboards using only keyboard. I can open history tool with keyboard using the shortcut, but after that I have to select clipboard using the mouse. It would be lot better if I could use up/down and enter buttons to select and paste clipboard.
Better yet, It would be great to assign CMD-1 to the first item, CMD-2 to the second and soon up to 9 so a shortcut key would open the list and the cmd sequence could select the most recent items.
NeilS2: Good idea. Cmd-1, Cmd-2 doesn't work for me. I use it to navigate tabs in Safari. Ideally we need to be able to customise the shortcut. @Alex Patsay : TBH the clipboard functionality without the keyboard shortcuts means that it is no use to me at all. Do you know when we can expect keyboard access to Clipboard history?
Hi all, The clipboard entries can be selected and copied/pasted using the keyboard only. Use the up and down arrow keys to select between the clipboards and ENTER to copy and paste the text into your current app (except Clipboard History tool) Hope this helps.
I also second this enhancement, which is built-in to Windows 10 & 11 and also among the requests in the requests in the Clipboard History Supercharged post, pointing to widespread interest in this enhancement.
