On Parallels Desktop for Mac, I initially installed Windows 11 but then realized I needed Windows 10. I deleted Win11, and tried installing Win10. Something when wrong and even if I delete Win10 and start over, I get in an error loop. Any help is appreciated.

If you're running parallels on Apple Silicon ( M1, M2, M3) then you'll have to use Windows 11. Windows 10 will only run on parallels running on Intel chips

Thanks for replying. My machine is a 2.8ghz Core i7. I can't seem to clear out the partially installed Win 10, so when I install it again, it just takes up where to previous install failed. How do I clear all remnants from the previous OS install? I already tried deleting and reinstalling the desktop. Frustrating!

I know this sounds obvious, but have you tried creating a new Virtual Machine and reinstalling the Windows 10 ISO from scratch?

You might try deleting /Volumes/<your name>/Parallels directory. That's the default location for installation. Then try to re-install.
