is it possible to disable and remove the coherence button from the titlebar? it's off center of the other window buttons, highlights differently than the other buttons and i never use coherence.
Hi, unfortunately you cannot remove the "coherence" button, because it is by-design, like the "full screen" button.
Yes, it is possible! In Windows: Start > type "msconfig" > wait till you're shown the program "msconfig" > open that > tab "services" > check "hide all microsoft services" > uncheck the "Parallels Coherence Service" > hit "OK" > restart. Now the Parallels Coherence Service will not be loaded when you boot Windows. see here: https://forum.parallels.com/threads/disabling-coherence-mode.97369/
OMG Thank you. I will never use Coherence. I hit the button accidently and it took me 35 minutes to figure out how to get out of Coherence. I want it gone forever. I tried the msconfig and it works! Thanks again.
