    Hello,
    I am running Parallel Desktop 18.3.2 (53621) on MacBook air (M1) 13.6.1 (22G313) and Windows 22H2.
When I delete a file from a shared Mac folder under windows it is not visible under either of the Recycle bins.
This is a Mac documents folder shared with Windows in the Parallel options.
    Where do they go?

    Thanks for any help.

    Please ignore the question above.
I now see that it gives me a warning that it will permanently delete files which explains why they are not in the bins.
How is it possible to enable the Windows recycle bin when working on a Mac folder?

    Thanks

@James74 did you ever get an answer for this? I have the same issue. You get the permanent deletion of the file. I am sure this used to be handled differently, with deletion to the Mac Recycle Bin is it was a Mac file shared with Windows

I now have the same exact problem. Can someone at Parallels please provide a solution?

Behaviour is consistent with the new Symlinks method they adopter for shared folders, you can read about it here:
    https://docs.parallels.com/pdfm-ug-...ng-files-from-shared-folders-works-in-windows

    I hate this.
    How I fixed it:
    Created an autohotkey v2 script.
It moves files/folders to a special directory (C:/123/) which acts as my recycle bin, once in a while I purge it.
No more popup about the final deletion and also you recover the recycle bin. win/win.

For the script send me 10$ at this BTC address.. Just kidding, posted it on github:
