Whenever I run low on battery 1-2%, my win 10 VM will suspend but automatically come back when I plug power back in. However, when I then tried to access the windows filesystem in finder Locations > VM name (which is still showing in finder), I get

"The operation can't be completed because the original item for "vname" can't be found.

The only way to get things back to normal is to restart the VM.

Anyone know how to resolve this without a VM restart? it's becoming a real pain.

Hello, could you provide us with the screenshot of the issue please?
Also please let us know what is your Parallels Desktop version?

When you battery is full, does the issue reoccur?

    1. Exact screenshot to follow as I have since rebooted the VM and it's currently working
    2. Parallels Desktop version 16.1.3 (49160)
    3. MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
    4. Everything is fine when the battery is full, it only happens when the VM is forced to suspend due to low battery, but when I plug in again and the VM resumes, everything is fine expect the VM as a location in finder is no longer accessible.
