How can I return Parrallels Desktop?

  1. Hello,

    I purchased Parallels Desktop v12 from Best Buy using a Best Buy gift card. I do not need this software as it does not fit my needs. How can I return this?

    I am afraid we cannot refund purchases made through other online stores. Plz, contact Best Buy directly for their refund policy.

  3. Hi Guna, are you saying "The Parallels Desktop 30-day money-back guarantee ensures your satisfaction" does not apply to me in this case?

    Or are you telling me to return it to Parallels directly in reference to the link you provided?

    If you have purchased Parallels Desktop box copy from a physical store which is located in US or Canada then you can follow the steps to return the box copy.

    I purchased Parallels at my local BestBuy and I sent the receipt with my package to Parallels.

    Ok, thanks a lot for your reply.
    As I understand you purchase Parallels Desktop from the reseller.
    In this case, please contact the reseller for the refund. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with the refund, because all of your purchase info located into the reseller internal system.

    Are you saying the below terms do not apply to me? Bestbuy will not provide me a refund as they have no way of ensuring that I do not use the license/key provided in the box after returning it to them.
    As I replied before:

    You can return the Parallels Desktop during 30 days after purchase. But we can refund only orders which have been done from the official Parallels website. Unfortunately we cannot do anything with other purchases (which has been done from the resellers websites)
     
  11. I purchased a physical copy of this software. If the below does not apply, please send me my box back if I will not be getting a refund and remove the 30 day guarantee from the box.

    I have already sent the software back to Parallels.. so I need that back in order to have Best Buy deny my return again.

    I keep asking this and I never actually get an answer. Please direct me to someone who can help because you are simply not. If this does not apply, how can I get get my package that I sent back to Parallels back?

    Hi @Chris17 - sorry for the confusion. The policy you quoted is applicable to your case.
    We received your box and are processing the refund. You should get a check in your mail within ~30 days (it should actually be faster than that).
