I'm using Parallels to run a Windows 11 ARM VM on macOS. Parallels Toolbox is required for some basic VM functions, but also includes over 50 tools that you have to pay an additional fee to use. I'm not interested in any of these tools. Yet they remain clogging up my app list ready to redisplay the ad for paying to use them if you accidentally click on one. How can I remove or completely hide these tools without losing the needed ToolBox functionality?
Never mind, I figured out how to get rid them. Even though these tools don't display for deletion like normal apps they can be removed.
To uninstall or hide unwanted tools in Parallels Toolbox, start by opening the Toolbox and navigating to the "Library" tab. To uninstall a tool, locate the desired tool, right-click on it, and select "Uninstall." If you prefer to hide the tool instead of uninstalling it, simply deselect the checkbox next to the tool in the Library tab. Should you want to reinstall or show a hidden tool later, you can return to the Library and reselect the checkbox. This process makes it easy to manage the tools in Parallels Toolbox without cluttering your workspace.
