Hi,
I'm using Parallels 4.0.3846 (August 29, 2009) with Mac OS X 10.5.8 on a 2008 MacBook Pro.
My guest OS is Windows 2003 Server, but the problem happens in other guests too.
I am experiencing intermittent network issues using Bridged networking. When trying to access local network resources (file shares, etc), Windows complains that it cannot connect; I try 2-3 times and it works.
Sometimes I cannot get connectivity at all and restart - try 2-3 times again - it may or may not work.
Once connected, things will be ok for some time (anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours) and then break again.
* I have disabled the Firewall on Mac OS X and in the guest.
* Changed the guest's mac address
* Re-installed parallels tools
* ran ipconfig in various forms
* updated the guest's network driver
I have to work in Bridged mode, so shared is out of the question.
Any suggestions about how I may be able to fix this?
