    Hi,

I've successfully installed quite a few linux distros under parallels.

I've honestly had the best luck with SUSE 10.0 and SUSE 10.2, but have also gotten (K)Ubuntu 6.06 up and running as well by giving only 512 MB of memory (which I read I think in these forums at some point).

I did also get Damn small Linux and am actually working with Arch Linux at this moment, but have had a heck of a time with Slackware as I always get a Kernel Panic from the video card (not sure if this is Parallels related).

It's tough, I tend to want to make virtual machines to test distros, but when things get buggy I don't know if it's because of a Parallels conflict or the distro.

For production my SUSE installs work great and I can share folders through Samba and provide the maximum amount of memory suggested. I would prefer a stripped down machine at times, but for simplicity SUSE is the way for me to go at this point.

If anyone else has had luck maybe they could post it?
