I spoke too soon. There's still a delay, but it isn't as bad as Parallels 19.

I do not know how it has become acceptable for Parallels to ignore this very essential issue and keep adding the so called new features. What AI development are you expecting from me if I cannot spend 5 minutes in my IDE without getting annoyed.

As a software engineer, 90% of what I do in a virtual machine involves typing and this behaviour is so annoying I cannot "not notice" it.
I did not renew my yearly subscription when it expired few months ago, mainly to wait and see if the next release (Parallels 20) would fix it. And here we are with same story.

Using a wired USB keyboard is not an option for me. The purpose of a virtual machine is the seamless transition between host and guest. I may as well just get an additional windows machine.

I hope the people at Parallels realise that VMWare Fusion is now pretty much on par with Parallels for Windows 11 and also for free.
The only clear advantage for Parallels is the graphics performance. And as for me, I do not play games and could care less about it.

You can run the discount till forever for all I care. Without the fix for the keyboard delay I am no longer subscribing.

I just upgraded to Sequoia. The keyboard lag still exists. Back a couple posts you'll see that I said that that lag wasn't as bad in Parallels 20 as it was in Parallels 19. After more extensive use, I'll have to take that statement back as well.

    Please fix the lag issue.

Parallels, it's pointless to send me surveys if you don't apply the corrections that we users point out every time. Is it really that difficult to move a driver from version 17 to version 20? I am blind and use the computer only with a keyboard and screen reader; having a non-responsive keyboard makes you want to take the MacBook and throw it out the window. As far as I'm concerned, this is the last year of my subscription; it's time to go back completely to Windows.
