I got this message in my Mac after three weeks I did not use my Parallels. ''Your parallels Desktop for Mac Standard edition has expired'' To continued using renew or purchase a new license
I was very happy to have in my Mac Linux and windows, but last year in France my Mac Laptop was robbed from the car after smashed windows and took our luggage, I bought a new Mac but I could not get help from parallels to reuse/reinstall parallels in this new Unit, I had a parallels license for almost 4 years, just from time to time it was updated. I had to buy a new license in Dec 4 2019, but it seems like it was one year lease because now I can not use it unless I buy a new license. I have Windows 7 that I bought when I got parallels, but I never have to buy again, license and software is forever and this is from one of the most abusive companies in Software, Microsoft, but I can not believe on message I am reading that a software coming from Germany you buy license for a year, I think the proper term should "Lease", or did I bought a different type of license last year?
