MS Excel very slow

Hoping to improve performance of Excel in my virtual environment. It is slow, it freezes up, it lags while scrolling.

I'm running Parallels 18 for Mac Pro Edition on macOS Big Sur 11.7.10. Computer is a Mac Mini 2018, 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 with 64 GB of Ram. Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB.

Parallels is configured about 50/50 Windows/Mac with 6 processors and 30,836 MB of memory.

Any suggestions to get Excel running better in the Windows environment?
I am using a Bloomberg terminal with their Excel API to import data.

I'm having identical issues with an an Excel spreadsheet with about 8k rows of data. Disappointing as Windows Excel is my principal reason for licensing Parallels.

I'm running Parallels 18 for Mac Pro Edition on macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. Computer is a Macbook M2 Max with 32 GB of Ram.

Parallels is configured about 50/50 Windows/Mac with 6 processors and 16gb of memory.
