Hello, I'm encountering an issue after upgrading to Parallels 20. I used to run an MSSQL container on an Ubuntu VM with Rosetta enabled in Parallels 19 without problems. However, after the upgrade, I get the following message when trying to start the container: "Rosetta is only intended to run on Apple Silicon with a macOS host using Virtualization.framework with Rosetta mode enabled." Is there a known compatibility issue with Parallels 20 and Rosetta for this use case? Has anything changed in the way Rosetta or Virtualization.framework is handled in Parallels 20 that could cause this issue? Any guidance or workaround would be appreciated. Thanks!
This is exactly the same problem here. Just installed last week in Parallels 19 and everything worked fine. Updated Macos and Parallels today and I get this error. Is there a workaround? Really need help.
I think the issue has something to do with macOS Sequoia. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-sequoia-working-and-non-working-apps.2428673/page-2
Hello! We've fixed it in Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 build released a few minutes ago. Update Parallels Desktop to version 20.1.0 to have the issue addressed: https://parallels.com/directdownload/pd/.
