Those bugs were also present in parallels 16 Fallout new vegas: this also happened in parallels 16. when you look to certain objects is like if it was an eldrich aberration that made the computer insane and it totally refuses to render the scene. And in dark souls the same problem as I said a few days ago in parallels 16: I have to admit tho that with the new parallels release the game runs slightly smoother than in the video.
A MIRACLE! if you run the game in windowmoved, the issue seems to be gone. Tested in parallels 17 with windows 11. Might have added some multitrheeading mod and the 4gb patch, but the issue also happened with fullscreen.
What do you mean by windowmoved? I enabled windowed mode in the launcher and I am still encountering the same issue. Thanks, Andrejs
it happends a lot less. it still happends but as example, primm is ok. Also the game crashes a few times but it's the usual in fallout new vegas. I'm not sure if the issue is in parallels driver or in windows arm translation layer.
It might be interesting to note this thread about the Fallout bug, which apparently is due to a water shader used: https://forum.parallels.com/threads...17-windows-10-arm-stuttering-freezing.354407/. It would be really nice to get some official support on this issue from Parallels.
