Parallels desktop 10: "You have reached the maximum number of activations available"

    greetings,

    i purchased PD11 for mac, subsequently had to wipe all software from my (same) computer this wknd, now trying to reinstall but says my product key can no longer be used. can you reset/help me?

    Hello,

    I have a key that was used on an old computer, and wasn't deactivated when the computer was gotten rid of. Now the key can't be reused. Could you please reset or help me with this?

    Hello WalterD1, we have reset the license key. Please activate it once again and if the issue still persists, please open Terminal (Finder > Applications > Utilities > Terminal) and execute the command: sudo rm -rf /Library/Preferences/Parallels/licenses.xml

    Hello,
    I have the same issue; my old computer died so I swapped its hdd to another MBP and it won't let me to activate/transfer the license. Could you help me?

    Hi @COI , we have made a few changes from our end, Please follow the instructions below:
    1. Quit Parallels Desktop, then try to activate after launching it again.
    2. If you are still unable to activate, Open Terminal on the Mac and execute this command: prlsrvctl activate-license-online

    My Mac was stolen -- I have reported it to the police and placed a lock on the Computer - so far it has not connected to the internet.
    I bought a new Mac and cannot load Parallels except to work off line -

    When I first tried to activate the license I received the "you have received the maximum number of activitations available " after several attempts at the solutions offered here now I receive this message
    Failed to activate the license: Unable to confirm the product license. The confirmation could not be registered. Please try again later or contact the Parallels support team for assistance.

    I have tried several times and seems it works off and on

    1. Quit Parallels Desktop, then try to activate after launching it again.
