    Greetings fellow Parallels users,

Does anyone here have hands-on experience with using Parallels vs. VM Ware Fusion with regards to features and performance?
I don't need the Pro features of Parallels and have been satisfied with Standard edition until the recent seemingly intentional breaking of the software by Parallels to stop v15 from installing and booting recent Windows Insider Preview builds.

For more information about that, see:

I don't need the latest Parallels Toolbox version (let's face it there are a handful of apps that do those functions or Apple is Sherlocking them).

    Any information would help, Thanks!

Hi @SoonToBeFormerParallelsUser, I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue with installing Windows Insider Preview 20H2 in Parallels Desktop Standard Edition. This issue is under investigation by the Parallels Engineering team. Once the fix is available, it will be included in the next Parallels Desktop update, including the Standard Edition.

Please understand that this is a beta version of Windows, nothing caused intentionally, nothing changes in the scope of support for Windows Insider in Parallels Desktop Standard Edition. In this particular situation, the Pro Edition simply has more advanced features that luckily helped to work around the issue. Let me know if you have any questions.
