PD8 - Mouse pointer disappearing?

yo dogs - solution:

1) in onenote goto: File -> options -> advanced ->
2) uncheck the checkbox: "automatically switch between inking, selecting, typing, and panning"
3) enjoy the solution to a problem that has haunted many for years. :)

ps: Parallels, i really love your software and have also been haunted by this for a while. So i do use this vm religiously and have worked like crazy to find this so i just thought i ask: If this really does fix most people problems can i have a free upgrade to the next parallels? You guys are the best!

I've also struggled with this problem with OneNote 2013 and Parallels 9. So frustrating!!!

You're definitly worth a free upgrade!

Simple Solution

In Parallels Desktop 9:

Shut down the VM. Then...

1. Configure Virtual Machine
2. Hardware
3. Mouse and Keyboard

De-select MOUSE POINTER STICKS AT WINDOWS EDGES

And the mouse won't get stuck in Coherence windows. Seems it would be simple for Parallels engineers to fix this obvious bug as this feature should be automatically disabled in Coherence mode. Based on the above discussion it seems that they don't know what's going on.... Or maybe I'm missing something...

Yo Dogs - SOLUTION:

2) Uncheck the checkbox: "Automatically switch between inking, selecting, typing, and panning"

!!! one cannot understand how this will help my workday...thank you so much!!! and, it'll teach me to read to the end of a forum string before wasting my time performing a bunch of unnecessary uninstalling and registry cleaning.

Model Identifier: MacBookPro11,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
System Version: OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)
Kernel Version: Darwin 13.3.0
Parallels Build 8.0.18619 (Revision 1001606; April 24, 2014)
VM: Windows 7 w/SP1 (64 bit)
Software: Microsoft Office 2103

Go to the parallels menu (two red bars), and click on "Actions"->"Reinstall parallel tools". It will ask for the root password in the VM, and reinstall the software tools. This fixed the issue for me.
