I'm strongly considering going from Fusion to Parallels. I have an iMac intel now but will upgrade to iMac with an M1 or M2 chip.
Would it be better to install Parallels on my current machine and then create a Parallels VM?
Is there some resource to walk me through migrating files and folders from Fusion to Parallels on the current machine?
The last time I changed iMacs the transfer process was slick as butter. That included Fusion and files, etc. I assuming there may be some quirks regarding anything related to Windows, including Parallels. Are there any resources to make the transition go smoothly?
By the way, I can't be the first person that's asked this so please forgive me. I did a search but 10,000 results popped up. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
