This license has reached its activation limit. Please help.

    Hello!
    My license is not working when activating on a new Mac.
    I tried to follow the KB articles but I didn't have an option to disable my old license. I'm on the SAME version (v17) as my previous machine as this was a migration.
    When I try to activate via key, I get "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies".

    What can I do here?

    Kindly try to activate your license once again on your new Mac.

    Hi, thank you for the fast reply.

    Unfortunately, the same problem persists ("the license has reached its activation limit" message) when I try to activate my license once again on my new Mac.
    I have also tried reinstalling Parallels Desktop and rebooting the machine, with no luck.
    Would there be anything else I could do?

    I am also trying to move my license to a new Mac. I have already ran the migration assistant and when I tried to launch Parallels it gave me the error
    "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies."

    Hi there. I have same problem. I install Parallels Desktop 17 for using on new mac. Then it deactivated license from old mac before activating new mac.
    But the error message displayed that "This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies.".
    Could you tell me what I should do?

    I am having the same issue. Never had this problem before with moving computers. Do you know what the problem is? Extremely frustrating. And why was the control removed from the user end to do this? It seems extremely counter productive.

    I tried again but it gave the same error. Would changing my license key help?
