Yes I agree, but with AV removed and the fact my 3.0 was running fine (obviously no corruption) had been through several previous 3.0 upgrades and had PD Tools installed why would permissions all of a sudden be an issue in 4.0 and not in 3.0? Something in 4.0 is asking for permission that Microsfot must obviously not be allowing and I would assume the installation routine is flawed then somehow.
