    Hi, everyone!

Let me start by clarifying that I am not talking about specific applications inside of the VM. No traffic for the VM itself appears in the Mac Activity Monitor. For example, when I watch a YouTube video inside of the Windows 10 VM, I can see the network usage spike in the VM's Task Manager. However, there is no commensurate increase in the Mac Activity Monitor. In the Mac Activity Monitor:
    • "Parallels Desktop" shows 0 bytes sent, 0 bytes received, and 0 sent or received packets.
    • "Windows 10" (the name of my VM) shows 0 bytes sent, 0 bytes received, and 0 sent or received packets.
    • "prl_disp_service" shows 0 bytes sent, 0 bytes received, and 0 sent or received packets.

I am trying to determine why this is happening and how to prevent it from happening. (This traffic is bypassing a firewall application I have installed; I assume that the root cause is the same for both issues.)

    My configuration:
    • macOS Catalina 10.15.3
    • Parallels Desktop for Mac App Store Edition 1.5.0
Any help, advice, or assistance would be appreciated.
