basically, in Shared Networking Parallels Desktop virtual machine uses internet connection that is currently on top of networks on Mac side: System Preferences > Network (you can drag wireless connection to top). Windows virtual machine does not connect to internet directlly. As first troubleshooting steps, please try the following:
1. Reinstall Parallels Tools by removeing Parallels Tool entry from Add/Remove Programs list, restarting VM and installing Parallels Tools from Virtual Machine menu.
2. Try to switch between Shared Networking and Bridged with Default Adapter or vice versa
