Parallels desktop 10: "You have reached the maximum number of activations available"

  1. Hi colinm6. We have reset the license key. Please follow the instructions below activate Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac.
    1) Open Terminal (Finder --> Applications --> Utilities --> Terminal.app)
    2) Execute the command:
    prlsrvctl activate-license-online
    3) Start Parallels Desktop and try to proceed with the activation once again.

    Thank you for the quick response, the reset is ok for one of my activation keys, but the other one it's still not working.
    Please check my key number xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-QDBJZY.

    Actually I'm using only one, but I'll buy another one next month, so I need both of my activation keys working. I think this key (..QDBJZY) was only used in a Parallels 10 a couple of years ago, it was never updated to Parallels version 11 like the other one.

    Hi @colinm6 , we have reset the key . Please follow the instructions below:
    1. Quit Parallels Desktop, then try to activate after launching it again.
    2. If you are still unable to activate, Open Terminal on the Mac and execute this command: prlsrvctl activate-license-online

    HI, I'm having the same issue with my Parallel Desktop 11 license.
    One of my MBP HD failed before I could signoff and now i cannot reuse the license anymore.
    Can i get my key reset?

    Hi, I'm replacing my laptop and while migrating to the new machine I've run into the "You have reached the maximum number of activations available for your activation key. Please purchase a new product license." issue while reinstalling Parallels 10, as there doesn't seem to be an option anymore to deactivate the old copy. Judging by this forum thread there seems to be some backend action needed, so any support would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello GianfrancoZ, We have made the necessary changes for the Parallels Desktop license key. kindly try to activate it. If the issue still persists, please execute the following command with Terminal < prlsrvctl activate-license-online >.

    My Old imac replaced for a New imac.
    Text comes up " you reached the maximum nummer of activations....
    Can jou help me?

    Hi JoeyP. Please quit Parallels Desktop now. Then, open Terminal (from the Finder menu, navigate to Go -> Utilities -> Terminal), execute the command <><><> prlsrvctl activate-license-online <><><> inside the Terminal window, wait till the operation completes, close Terminal and re-attempt the activation.

    Hi need also a License Reset, because i am using a new Computer.
    I Cannot deactivate the old licnse, cause the HDD is broke. Possible ?
