Helo everybody. That's my first message here. I'm sorry if this is this wrong section to post my question, that it is... Currently I have 2 licenses: 1 - A subscription (Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition), that I'm using on my MacMini M2 for daily work, at home; 2 - A perpetual license (Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac) that is not in use right now. My question is: is it useful/feasible to install this 13 version on my Macbook Pro M1 with 32GB of RAM for when I need to work remotely? Thanks. Regards.
Hi! Thanks for replying. What about Intel Macs (Macbook Pro 13' Early 2015, for example)? Is it still usable?
I would assume so, but I haven't tested that. The big issue with staying with an Intel machine is that it is so damn slow. The license for Parallels isn't exorbitant IMO and the faster M1/M2 architecture is simply a game changer.
I agree. On the other hand, I don't use both computers (MacMini M2 and Macbook Pro M1) at the same time. It's always one or the other. And keep moving the license from one to another is really annoying, to say the least. So would be nice if I could share the license between them or at least have a "2 pack" license for a significantly reduced price. But that's another issue...
Hello @C.R Since you have a Parallels Desktop 13 legacy license, you may purchase an upgrade key at a reduced price. You can purchase it here. Regards,
