Hello everyone I'm in your user of parallel deskopt, which I installed Creo on it. I have a problem that when I run creo nothing happened, so I read your conversation and it's impossible to modify the parametric.psf because I am not able to do it. so if someone can help me because I need to run on my Mac urgently! Thank you everyone one[/
I recently purchased Creo from 3HTi and installed it on my Mac using
Parallels Desktop. However, I faced an issue where
Creo wouldn't launch at all--nothing happened when I tried to run it. After researching, I found out that this could be related to modifying the parametric.psf file, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to access or edit that file correctly.
In urgent need of a solution, I reached out to
3HTi's support team, and I'm happy to share that they were extremely responsive and knowledgeable. They guided me through every step needed to make Creo work under the Parallels environment on macOS.
Here's what worked for me thanks to their help:
- Ran Parallels in "Windows 10/11 for Engineering" configuration for better graphics compatibility.
- Updated the OpenGL settings in Parallels to ensure Creo could access proper rendering.
- With their help, I also learned how to copy and modify the parametric.psf using administrative privileges, something I couldn't figure out on my own.
After these tweaks,
Creo now runs smoothly on my Mac via Parallels. I couldn't be more satisfied with the software and especially the support I received.
Thank you, 3HTi, for the outstanding customer service and helping me get up and running quickly!
