Thanks for this workaround - I've just done the same thing and my memory usage dropped from 98% to below 30%. Processes now appear to be reporting the correct memory usage in Task Manager too.

It would be really good to get on answer on this - I'm seeing the same thing even with a fresh VM and no apps installed. The memory values in task manager just don't add up to anywhere near the memory in use which is always 90%+ of what I've allocated to the VM.

I've got the same issue. Just created a new VM and memory was fine - installed Parallels Tools and it's back at 95%. No apps or anything else installed, so definitely looks like a driver issue.

Nice work around from another thread here: - Simply to go into Parallels app > Preferences > under your "Virtual Machine" (ie Windows 10), > Shortcuts > Add new shortcuts where you map "1" to "1", and so on. It's made life back to normal!

Also, passing my bluetooth keyboard directly to the VM works. Laptop keyboard doesn't work at all.

I see this same issue too - 1,2, T & Y keys don't work in any Windows 10 VM I have (1709, 2004 and also current Insider build). The keys work fine in a macOS VM.

I can confirm that unchecking "nested virtualisation" also fixed the issue for me with a Win 10 VM no longer booting after upgrading to Parallels 13.1.
