Still over 100% CPU Usage . . . HELP

Hmm - I thought this had worked for me, and I successfully upgraded to Win 11 Pro 24H2 using the instructions above, and initially all was well. The fans weren't going crazy, and CPU usage was low/normal. However, after a reboot or two it also installed the July Cumulative updates - and once again the fans started going again and haven't stopped since.

So the answer seems to be, upgrade to 24H2, and while doing so make damn sure to pause all updates - as once the July cumulative update installs, these chips seem to have a problem.
 
Letting it just sit for awhile seems to have done the trick. CPU usage back to normal, temps back to normal, fan speed to zero. (24H2 Win 11 ARM, with all cumulative updates installed, M3 Pro & latest parallels)

We would recommend you to update your current Windows 11 virtual machine to 24H2 and test if the issue still persists.

First, ensure that you back up your Windows virtual machine before proceeding with the steps outlined as per this KB article : https://kb.parallels.com/en/4859 or https://kb.parallels.com/8827
1. Download the .ISO image file from Microsoft website : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11arm64
2. After successfully downloading the Windows .ISO image file, start your Windows 11 virtual machine and mount the Windows installation .ISO file inside it, following the instructions in this KB article : https://kb.parallels.com/8638
3. Once you have successfully mounted the Windows installation image file inside your Windows 11 virtual machine, you will need to run the setup file located within the image in the "In this PC" Window.
4. Press Command + E on your keyboard to open the "Quick Access" File Explorer window, then select "DVD Drive" from the left pane.
5. Double-click the "Setup" file to begin the upgrade to 24H2.

Thanks for sharing this solution. Worked for me. Seems that some of the recent updates of windows 23H2 have messed things up.
 
Thank you for the info, I just started up my Parallels, saw it updating, hit the pause updates. Will let it sit after doing updates, thank you.
