Hi,
I have just started using PD. I notice that at the moment all my files on my Mac are also in my PD Windows. Is it possible to isolate the two OS files? But I still want to be able to copy/paste/drag the files between the two, I just don't want every file to be present in both of them at the...
Copy/paste has also recently stopped working for me. I've read the various entries in the forum, checked the configuration, reinstalled parallels tools, restarted Windows, restarted my MacBook, uninstalled Avast, and re-downloaded and re-installed Parallels. It still doesn't work. I haven't...
Hey
Im no developer but I have noticed there is a compatibility issue with Typinator this uses the clipboard to insert text expansion but when working within parallels is unreliable I believe this is due to the way clipboard sync works. Typinator have a guide on how they use the clipboard and...
When copying and pasting out of MacOS VM it always prepends with:
Version:1.0
StartHTML:000000096
EndHTML:000000844
StartFragment:000000096
EndFragment:000000844
this does not occur if you paste into fields that are only plain text.
I am running Red Hat Linux inside Parallels. I am unable to copy and paste from macOS to the Red Hat terminal. Additionally, I cannot access the Parallels Toolbox in Red Hat. Please help, it's very urgent.
Cannot get the clipboard to work.
I've made sure the 'Isolate Windows from mac' is unchecked
Clipboard sync is bidirectional
I've updated Parallels
I've reinstalled Parallel Toolbox several times.
I've rebooted my VM several times after configuration.

Hi Folks,
I have some Mac OS guest os VMs that run applescripts for many hours at a time unattended. These apple scripts use the clipboard in the guest os. Is it possible to disabled clipboard sharing between the hose and the macOS guest os? It's very annoying when I'm using the host computer...
Is this possible through a manual setting? No configuration wheel exposed in Control Center, unlike other VM OS.
MacOS: 14.2.1 (23C71)
Parallels: Version 19.2.1 (54832)
How to reproduce:
1. download vscode
2. use vscode to open any project on github , for example https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB (maybe optional? You can try use VSCode open any code file with code highlighting)
3. copy any text in vscode
4. see clipboard manager have ? in history
I copied a .emf type graph from a software (called igor pro 6) on windows, but it cannot be pasted on illustrator on mac. However copying .emf type graph to illustrator on windows is totally fine.
Anyone has idea where the problem is? I'm wondering maybe parallels just doesn't support .emf or...
When I'm copying stuff from VS Code - Clipboard history is showing "square" placeholders -> see screenshot.
My guess is that it's not using / has access to system font I'm using ( I'm using one of the Iosevka variations -GitHub . It's OSS font for coding/terminal)
I don't see an option to set...
I want to be able to easily turn clipboard sharing on or off as having it on when using Excel in the guest OS usually results in a hang. I cannot find a keyboard shortcut or a programmatic way to do this. Perhaps there is a way - any ideas?
Thanks!
Hi,
for me on Ventura, Parallels 18.1 Clipboard sharing does not work on Ubuntu 22.10 and Raspberry Pi OS using Debian Bullseye. It does work with Windows 11. I have checked for clipboard tools, none that I could identify. So is my impression correct, that it just doesn't work, or is there...
It seems that the shared clipboard integration exclusively replicates only the CLIPBOARD selection.
I find this difficult to work with, as it makes the use of the PRIMARY selection inconsistent.
Is there a way to tell parallels tools to sync the PRIMARY selection to the MacOS pasteboard and...
